The Start of Festival Season

We’re almost at the end of January, and I’ve already covered three film festivals. Or at least part of them.

Festivals are a major part of the film world, with dozens of them happening worldwide on a monthly basis. They’re a great opportunity to see films that would otherwise struggle to be seen in the theater in the country in question, discover new talents, see highly anticipated movies ahead of time, and, if you’ve been at it long enough, spend time with the friends one has made in the film community.
